PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) is Thailand’s national oil company wherein the Ministry of Finance of Thailand holds 51%. PTT is an integrated oil and gas company involved in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas; refining and transportation of crude oil and natural gas; and manufacture of petroleum products. The company is present in oil and gas exploration, development and production through its subsidiary PTT exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP). Its upstream operations are located in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Oman, Iran, Egypt, Algeria, Bahrain, Australia, and New Zealand. However, the majority of its oil and gas assets are located in Thailand. PTT through its subsidiary, PTTEP has proved reserves of around 1,043 MMboe at the end of 2010.
